+ Friendly welcome from Franca. Central position. Quiet at night so good sleep .
− We had arrived from Siena where we had stayed at Palazzo Ravizza. Same cost of room . Perhaps one cannot compare Lucca with Siena however in Siena we had a huge room . A garden . An amazing shower . A library. Outstanding breakfast . 24 hour service . We thought our Lucca accommodation to be rather cramped but charming ( we were offered a choice of room ) for one night it was satisfactory but expensive
