Marosejka 2/15 Hotel

+ The location of the hotel was very good.

− The service was not upto the mark and the person sitting at the reception does not even understand basic English and he was also rude. Also there was not staff to carry the luggage.

+ Very good and friendly service. 5-10 mins walk to the Red Square! I liked my stay in Marosejka. They even ordered a taxi to the airport for me on request. I travelled from London through Istanbul, I am a Slovak national. Moscow is the most beautiful city I'veever visited. I would protect Moscow by myself. 🇷🇺

+ Great location, steps away from the Red Square, next to the metro station, market and restaurants. Staff is very helpful

− Sound insulation from the street and neighbouring rooms is bad. No proper shower stall.

+ Staff spoke english and it was a great location close to Red square.Shops cafes and supermarket are very close. Entry not great to hotel but rooms clean and quiet. stayed 3 times in different rooms and happy with them all on different floors.Staff helped with luggage as no elevators.

− If there is no elevator, in addition to foreigners, hotels must give you a record of accommodation that you must present at the airport, the hotel does not give it to me.

+ The location is right next to Kitay Gorod train station, almost no need to walk. Next 150 meters, there is a supermarket with a variety of fresh food. There are many shops nearby. And you can walk to Red Square in just 10 minutes. The room and bathroom are clean. My room is spacious. I can open 2 large suitcases. While the same type of room of my friend on a different floor is quite narrow. The water in the bathroom has strong flow. The shower is soft and the temperature is constant throughout the use. There is a bidet at the toilet, very convenient for Asians. There is someone to clean the room. And there is a toilet and a water dispenser for refilling bottles in the lobby on every floor. The staff is very good.

− No elevator but it was fine.

+ Location is good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

− Daily house keeping is not as described. There are a couple of days that our room was forgotten to be cleaned. On the 2nd night and forth night, no one comes to clean our room. On the forth night - they supposed to change the bed sheet and linen, unfortunately, they are not renew. Body soap was left empty after housekeeping. A bit disappointed.

+ Perfect location, the Metro is close next door

+ The location is right outside Kitay Gorod metro station and you can easily access the whole city including red square. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the manager and cook took special care for our vegetarian needs including giving access to the kitchen oven to heat our food. Room heating was also great

− The wifi was almost non existent, it kept going off even while using whatsapp

+ Really very clean, everyday our room and bathroom was cleaned. Very nice location, helpful staff! If one day I will come to Moscow, I won’t think about any other hotels.

− Walls are very thin, we heard all the noises came from next room. Not only loud noises, also whispers can be heard… :(

+ Good breakfast. Nice and correct service. Very nice location. Good relaxing atmosphere, even if the location is very much downtown.

− Nothing special I didn't like. The reception room a bit small maybe, but it was absolutely alright too.

+ The room on the 3rd floor, specifically because of the amazing view.

− My room with a roof window! Not nice at all!

+ It is a great place for a hotel and we enjoyed walking round the center of Moscow ,shopping and watching. It is located just round the corner from an underground station and also ten minutes from most famous landmarks The beds were fun and we enjoyed the spacious room and everything worked well which was really nice Perfectly clean in the room but at the bar a lot of dust on the shelves and in the corners although it didn’t spoil our meals It was quite nice. I can’t say we felt very much welcomed but it was alright. Helpful

− The only thing which was really uncomfortable was the absence of lift. It is very difficult to get to the last floor with the best rooms with luggage or shopping.

+ Close to metro station, close to several touristic places (walking distance from red square is 900m), friendly staff that speaks english.

− No elevator, but that wasn't a big problem for us. Everything else is just perfect. If stairs are not a deal breaker for you, this place is perfect!
