Hotel Omega

+ the location is very good and a lady receptionist was very polite

− not clean at all.

+ Location in nice neighbourhood close to the center, quiet at night.

− Carpet and chair in room literally worn to the thread.

+ Great location just a short walk from the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Concertgebouw theatre, etc. The continental breakfast was good, I was pleased to be able to smoke my tobacco pipe in the garden area adjacent to the breakfast room. 2 friendly cats from next door in the garden! Overall good value.

− We arrived quite late at around 10pm and were not offered a tea or coffee, which would have been a nice option. There were no hot drink facilities in the bedroom. The double bed was pushed into a corner so had access only from 1 side and the foot of the bed - not really convenient for 2 people around 60 years of age. The TV worked but could not be tilted as very worn.

+ So, we had a case with our trip. Omega hotel rejected your booking the day before our check in. The Ostrovok team helped us to find a new hotel during 24H (without any additional payments) and we stayed in a Hotel The Neighbor's Magnolia (3 Star). This hotel was super nice, friendly, with good breakfasts. It was a little far from the city center (~20m on foot) but we rented the bikes and we spent only 5 minutes on the road
