Guest Reviews
+ The only half decent thing about this HOSTEL is the location, about a 15 min walk to Red Square… everything else about this place is your worst nightmare!!!
− Oh my, where to start.. The fotos on ostrovok are fake, the rooms look nothing like the pictures, also is not a hotel, is a dirty, gross, loud and ill maintained hostel. The mattresses are about an inch thick so you are pretty much sleeping on top of a bed frame, everything is dirty, the toilets look like bus depot gross bathrooms, the whole place smells like burnt grease, the lights are so bright they are like stadium lights. The people that run it live there so they are always loud and cooking , waking everyone up at 2 am and if you say anything they scream at you. This place is out of your worst nightmares, youll be better off sleeping under a bridge. There’s not even a sign to find this garbage place, i wouldn’t be surprised if its an illegal hostel

− Unprofessionalism
+ The cleanness of the capsule, overall service. Nothing smelled bed so it was clean, and quiet!
− Theres nothing to not like for the price
+ Rooms are clean. Maintained properly. Problem is finding this location of hostel is really tough
− Location of hotel. There is no sign boards. Black gate which opens by pass code, receptionist cannot speak English. If you are new to city you are totally lost. Even local people don't know there is hostel here.
+ Very close to everything, if you are too lazy to walk ~12 mins to Red Square then the beautiful Arbatskaya metro is a ~4 min walk. I can't find fault with the two rooms I occupied during the start and end of my trip. Staff do their best to communicate with you, none speak English, not sure about other languages. Always felt like I could approach them with anything though. Especially the gentleman, he was very nice, and I regret not asking his name. There was nothing I didn't like about Cheers, it was cheap and in a very good area. There is a 24 hour shop at the end of the street towards the city which was handy. The other end of the street is where you will find furs, heels, and big hair if you are into that sort of thing. I ran from there, I did not belong 😂 Was very happy with my stay at Cheers, will stay again whenever in Moscow.
