Guest Reviews
− I usually don’t leave reviews, but my experience at Caps Hostel Moscow was so disappointing that I felt I had to. The staff here are openly rude and racist towards Indians. On top of that, not a single person, including the receptionist, speaks English, which makes things very difficult for international travelers. When I asked for the mandatory registration, they casually said their “system is broken.” This place doesn’t feel like a hostel for tourists at all. Instead, it’s filled with older, grumpy local men who seem to be living here long-term because they can’t afford apartments in Moscow. If you’re a traveler looking for a friendly and welcoming hostel, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

− So dirty. I didn't get any towels even though they said they would give them. People lived here, I think no tourists. In some places, wi-fi didn't work at all. Horrible experience. It was good I stayed only one night.
+ Nice location near to metro...washroom are quite clean but not that much...beds are comfortable.
− Rooms are small... Mostly Administrator not available at the reception..
+ kitchen is good
− the wi fi is not connecting
+ very convenient location and the guests were treated as friends. the host was kind and empathetic towards the tourist.

+ Could be cosy at times
− Quality of guests. Seemed like they would advertise hostel for people that came from jail. Horrible location for food. Can't recommend.

− I paid room for 6beds and female room but reception who is blond long hair gave me wrong room and she was very rude and mean. I couldn’t get enter the dorm and she never answer whats up or phone call. We didn’t understand and she demanded me to leave at 22:00 and that was very mean!
+ It's very cozy. Everyone lives here like home.
− Lack of street signs at the location
+ location is good, walk to Kremlin palace within 2 km! Can state luggage after checkout for free! But it’s a bit hard to find the hotel since it’s inside the living community, I ve asked several passersby
− The hygiene is not very good, especially the shower room. The hotel reception is almost 0 communication, WhatsApp is not answering!
+ the capsule beds were comfortable and sturdy. they were also spacious enough for me, i think it was 180x100x80 cm or something. didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. the common area/kitchen was also cozy and clean. you get a locker in your capsule room and it’s big enough to fit a luggage. if you don’t want to put your luggage in a locker you can line it up at the corridor like the rest of the people, and that seemed safe to us too. there’s also a washing machine. it’s also very close to the metro station. it’s caps hotel 2.0 on yandex maps lol.
− unfortunately some of the bathrooms smelled really bad. they all looked clean though so we just held our breaths lol. the girl working the reception doesn’t speak english at all, but she seemed friendly. another guy (we assume) working there helped us out.
+ Bathroom is ok
− The girl at the desk was extremely rude and unpleasant. She acted if I was some burden to her, just wanting to get rid of me. She doesn’t speaks a word in English.
+ Location.
− Staff doesn’t speak English.
+ A very convenient location not too far from the Kremlin and right across the street from some good food and grocery shopping. The laundry service was also incredibly convenient, along with the coffee/hot chocolate dispenser in the common room. I was also allowed to keep my access key for the day after checkout since my train didn't leave until late at night.
− For staff, you often needed to be at reception at the right time. Otherwise, they're rarely around. *It's essential to know some Russian in order to communicate.
+ The hostel is centrally located in the middle of the city which is accessible to many important establishments such centers,.museums, metro, restaurants etc . Pharmacy, bakery banks are all within reach. Great location. Caps hostel will take care of your needs and the staff were all helpful .
− Nothing
+ The bed was clean & comfy in the double room, wifi was good, water cooler was available, clean kitchen
− The desk staff was absent often and didn’t pick up the phone, dirty bathrooms
+ It is very convenient to travel from here. This hostel is located in the city centre and not far from the metro station. All of the employees are young and try their best to be helpful, but what impressed me the most was the cleanliness because there would always be a housekeeper to keep it clean. The key is security with smart wristbands used for entrances and lockers. The care and location of this hostel made me want to stay longer and longer.
− I don't like how the WI-FI works here. It has been working abnormally slowly. Also sometimes during loading work I have to wait for long time. Another disappointing thing is that the receptionist is rarely at their desk and you have to wait for them for a long time at least 30 minutes even if you write a message via Whatsapp. However, this is still a home for travelers and commuters.
+ The location of this hostel is perfect! You can just walk to Red Square, it’ll take less than 20mins. All amenities is perfect for me. Will stay here again if I visit Moscow next time. Btw, the staff was very kind ❤️

+ Close to Metro Station
− The beds were not that spacious
+ the location is quite good, near to christ savior church, and nearby there's a good Gerogian resturant.
− But I wanna kindly point out that the bathroom is quite narrow..and if you live at the upper berth, the hand rail can be a big challenge
+ The bed was clean enough, everyone was quiet at night😁✨
− No Wi-Fi connection in my room and the locker didn’t work for the whole night( my baggage are all inside the locker). Next day I waked up early waiting for the server to solve the problem but there’s no one at the service desk from 7:30am-10:00am…. Also the server didn’t even answer the phone))
+ 5 minutes from metro, in a quite place. It's located right on the main street but the sign of the hotel is a bit difficult to see. The capsule is very good, clean, seperated area, the administration reminds guests to be quite when enter the room, kitchen is very nice. Interior is also new. Perfect
+ Caps Ho(s)tel aka (ex-)Jolly Hostel - great place for cheap price in the middle of Moscow. I stayed here 4 times. The guys have recently renovated the hotel. There is excellent wi-fi. Very close to the Kremlin. Smart TV, refrigerators, toaster, grill, microwave, coffee machine, cooler, 4 toilets, 3 showers, 4 wash basins are available here. Cleaning takes place every day. The staff are all young, friendly and helpful. The Hotel is home to many people from different countries of different ages. Of the minuses, one can note the frequent visits by special services, police and security forces to this place. This time they came in civilian clothes and asked to give them a passport and take a photo of the passport. They were looking for someone. Excellent renovation in the rooms. Now you are completely closed from others, the walls are strong. Luggage boxes (if you are on the lower tier) now open with an electronic wristband. Above the drawers there is a backlight, very convenient! The only complaint about the rooms: I want to be able to ventilate all day long, and not just at night. And I seemed to lack air at night. I used to wake up at night due to lack of air. The hotel was cleaned every day. They didn't clean my place, but I didn't ask :) The hotel staff is great! Always helpful and kind!
