Ermitage Hotel

+ Overall the room was good. The location is good, a short walk from the city center or tram. It was a pleasant stay and good value, I think I would stay here again. I switched rooms, I think the room at the end of the hall is better than the other rooms.

− Room service didn’t give new towels daily, my girlfriend said she saw mold in the shower although I didn’t see it. I would have liked a little more variety in the breakfast

− There was a problem with the lift in the hotel. Lifts were not available everywhere.

+ I forget my jacket and after one day I back and they give it to me. Thanks for that. 

− There is smell in the toilet and you can smell it in the room sometime

+ Good Hotel , Heritage Property ......Staff Very Polite & cooperative. Challenges is for Vegan People ....No food inside Hotel.....except Boiled Vegies Every thing was good

− I would like to lodge my com plaint against Ermitage Hotel. The hotel condition wasn’t good. I had to change three rooms. The first room was being already used by someone. When I opened the door the bed was untidy & there were open bottles. Later. I was given another room on the 3rd floor which wasn’t kept well. The elevator in this wing wasn’t working & I had to drag my luggage to the 3rd floor. The rooms were unclean & the bathroom extremely unhygienic & old fashioned On my request, they shifted me to another wing on the 2nd floor. The switches & the connectors of this room were old. There are no smartlocking system so you have to manually lock the door from inside. There is no locker in the cupboard. I couldn’t even charge the mobile phone & laptop as the sockets seemed to be worn out. There was Christina managing the front who is a kid & wasn’t helpful. They charged me for a day when I asked then to return my advance money paid for 5 days. I ZEN Hotels should conduct due diligence prior recommending such low grade hotels who are swindling foreigners. I expect Zen hotels to speak to Ermitage Hotel management & get my refund of payment made to this hotel as a penalty for using their hotel for 1 hour. I strongly advise foreigners to never book this hotel. The only advantage is the location of the hotel. That evening I checked in at Holiday Inn Tagansky. Front desk unhelpful.

+ The hotel close to a tram station. The tram reach a metro station and from the metro you can go anywhere in Moscow. The room was similar to the image that shown in the website. The aircondiotn doesn't work but the hotel offer me a fan which was a good as an alternative solution. The staff are poite and heplful in everything, they tried the best to make you happy. They allowed me to keep my luggages to evening since my flight was in late night.

+ They accommodated a last minute, late check out request. Very nice. Cafes located in hotel were okay.

− Location and construction across the street - very loud. Staff was not very friendly or helpful.
