Gostinitsa Akademicheskaya RAN Hotel

+ The location of the hotel is so good, near to the center, few steps to the metro station, prices were fine for me.

− No air condition in the room , i need fresh air and if i open the window i hear extremely high noise coming from the building in front of the hotel and that was little bit annoying (if you close the window you will not hear the noise). The WiFi is working but very slow and i couldnt use it.

+ I love this tiny room, it feels like I have a home in Moscow✨

+ near to Oktyabrskaya metro, nice and comfortable! tasty, full! everything was good! clean nice, kind staff

+ I loved proximity to everything and friendliness of staff and security

− I hated the lack of AC and sometimes hot water , I hated the lack of checkin option before 11am,language barrier too.

− Very very very dated hotel near a metro station that can get you everywhere in the city. Breakfast was an abismal collection of questionable foods, some leftover from dinner(I’m not joking). Dinner, which i chose to be included in my stay was edible with many choices of salads drowned in mayonnaise and many hot dishes. I didn’t go to sleep hungry. The rooms are dated. It was really cold in Moscow January 2024. I asked for a heater and even with the heater next to my bed I was cold. It’s a one star hotel, nothing more. I wouldn’t let my ex wife stay here. Do not book this hotel.

+ Clean room, central location , lots of variety in breakfast, easy check-in process.

+ Walkable distance to the Metro. Lot of good restaurants around. I recently stayed at your hotel on 29th September 2023 at Akademicheskaya Hotel, 119049, Russia, г. Moscow, Donskaya St., 1. I have been motorcycling around Russa and Akademicheskaya was the hotel I booked to stay on the last day in the country. I walked into the reception and the front office person, Ms. Natalia, asked for my registration and there was some confusion around it. Due to this, I was unable to check into the hotel. But Ms. Natalia, went beyond her duties, made a few calls and sorted out my registration and helped secure my stay at your hotel. This is such a wonderful gesture from Natalia and she made my last day in Russia so memorable. It is not about the customer service, but it is about Natalia's beautiful character. I wish we had everyone like Natalia. I would request you to please pass on my best wishes to Natalia and thank her once again for being such a great help. She is the best.
