Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki Hotel

+ Very convenient location directly across from a mall that has a nice supermarket. Also some nice regional restaurants nearby. The reception was always super helpful and kind. The gym is a real gym with everything you need. The sauna and pool were great. I really enjoyed working out before breakfast.

+ This hotel is located in a god position. 5 metrò stations from Sokoliniki and you will be near Red Square. The bearkfast is very goof, food has good quality and also various. Gym and pool with sauna are a great pleasure for every guest. Room has a right size and is clean. Staff is nice and efficient

− At night, I asked the receptionist to leave my bags for three day and then I will collect them, she said it’s fine no problem but unfortunately at morning when I check out I ask the something ,they didn’t help me . They asked me to check in again after three days if I want to leave my bags (compulsory).

+ the room was comfortable & cleaned everyday although they didn’t vacuumed for more than ten days. the hotel is also very pretty & comfy.

− we booked a room for thirteen nights with breakfast included but no one told us how or where we were supposed to eat breakfast. we used the only thing related to breakfast in our room & chose what we wanted. we didn’t know breakfast room service wasn’t free because of our reservation. they brought us LOTS of food we didn’t even order on the menu & made us pay 3800rub. the hotel did NOT do anything to compensate us for the issue and told us it was our fault!! aside from it, the restaurant tried everything to resolve the matter and were very sweet although it did not work. another thing was the noise in the room: we could hear all the traffic just the same as when the windows were opened or closed.

+ The location is good , metro station is in the front of the hotel , there was many restaurants and grocery stores near the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly specially( Natalia, Danial) every one of the reception staff were professional. I’d highly recommend this hotel. I’d also like to thank the reservation department as they helped me to celebrate our special occasions.

− The water heater in the bathroom didn’t work even they tried very fast to fix when I told them about it , anyway it wasn’t a big deal. Over all this is a great hotel

− The coldest room I've ever stayed in during this Russia trip. The heating was inadequate even though the AC was set to the highest temperature. I checked in alone, but they gave me an interconnecting room which made me feel unsafe. By the time I realized it was almost 2 a.m., so I didn't ask to change it.

+ exellent location. near metro and market, and not far from the train station. there was so many different food and most of the food were dilicious. very big room with full of facility and so comfortable,great view from the room, I really liked the rom so much. clean room and clean hotel.

− Sanitary equipment of bathroom can be improved, first of all basin and shower

+ It is perfectly located . Across the road the Metro station and Mall. Food courts shopping all are available just across the road. Room was good in size and equipped with all necessary. Since I got the 23rd floor and view from the top was very nice. The House keeping was so good, she always kept everything arranged. Sometime my minor children used to make room unarranged , but when come back to room it rearranged. Very nice. other staffs like counter and reception staff all were very co-operative.
