+ LOcation

I had a room reserved for four nights. I arrived and was told I had to leave because there was no room. They let me stay for one night. I had to find another hostel to stay in. Shameful.

+ Good location. Cheap. Luggage storage for a fee.

The bed was hard and very uncomfortable - painful. And creaked whenever one turned around. The room was very stuffy and humid.

+ It's not expensive and close to the touristy areas.

A message to all travellers out there: avoid this place. You're better off finding other accommodations. Hard to find this hostel if you come for the first time because there's no sign around. The person who manages the place is so disorganised and takes forever to reply messages. To make it worse, they don't provide you any key or access card so every time you want to come in, you must press the bell many times and wait for a long until they come open the door with grumpy face. I don't understand why these people choose to run a hostel business if they don't understand how to treat guests right. Maybe don't run a hostel business anymore with that horrible attitude. And if I cannot come to the hostel after 11pm, then I might as well not waste money to pay for this place. Towel and dorm room have this weird smell.

+ Quite clean and somewhat safe and it’s cheap

The host is very unfriendly and rude, especially when you’re a foreigner ‚why is your passport not in Russian?, You want me to register you? No, we don’t do that here (what is required by Russian law for EVERY place a foreigner stays at) It’s cheap but the hostess is a piece of work
