Guten Duck Moscow Hostel

+ it was comfortable and cozy place and the place is also beautiful

− The staff made a mistake....bathroom is not that convenient and no elevator

− The sheets were dirty, and I charged 600 rubles for changing the sheets, but they didn't give me clean sheets. When I asked for a refund, they didn't give me a refund, saying that it was a fine for staining the sheets. I can pay the fine, but the key is that after I paid the money, they didn't change the new sheets, and they let me sleep dirty sheets, which was terrible. And the administrator's attitude is very bad.

+ The location was great. Very convenient. The room was neat and clean. Hostel staff regularly cleaned the room. This is good example of hostel for short term stay. Well maintained and well behaved people. The reception was very helpful and explained everything in English.

+ Amazing location, clean place in all areas, good mattress and outstanding structure such as fully equipped kitchen, vend machines, clothes wash machine, working place.

− No internet WiFi my room number 17. And staff do not speak English at att and most important, they do not make any effort to use Translators even if we, guests, show the screen just to read and answer back. There is one lovely lady, long light brown hair that she is the exceptions. She speaks a bit of English, make efforts to deliver clear communication

+ Location is good, about 1 km from Chistye Prudy metro station. Locality was beautiful. I loved their Lounge and kitchen area. Ambience was excellent. Bed, sheets, AC, light, everything was very comfortable. Staffs are very sweet, polite and helpful. Best part is that few of their staffs are good in English as well, that's an added advantage for foreigners.

− In some washrooms (near room 19), the washrooms had very bad smell.

+ Everything! Hostel is amazing, clean, people are great there! There is a social area with TV, chess etc. Big kitchen as well. It’s always clean. Definitely recommend.

+ The design was excellent, very homey, the staff speaks good english, the room is cleaned every day. Not all hostels provides room cleaning everyday. Toilet/bathroom are spotless clean.

− The sound from the hallway can be easily heard from inside the room. One night around 2am a group of people were hanging out in the hallway and it was so loud that it woke us up. This is not directly linked to the hostel but perhaps a reminder in the hallway for people to keep quiet would be useful.

+ In my opinion this the definition of a perfect hostel. The personal is very helpful and competent. The sleeping and all public rooms are very clean. The kitchen and the other public rooms are very comfortable. In the kitchen there is a water supplier, where you can fresh water for free.
