Sitikomfort Na Tverskoj Hotel

+ The location was phenomenal, central close to metro, many cafes and restaurants nearby, buses very close and a 10 minute walk to the Bolshoi theatre! Incredible value for money! Endless hot and cold drinking water in the foyer!

− Some of the staff were very unhelpful in my first days but by the end were very nice- I stayed on and of for three weeks! In between excursions. The internet was patchy, no English TV channel and no way to share screen from phone. Many stairs dragging a suitcase and small rooms some with not much bathroom privacy! (glass screen encasing toilet with a curtain!)

+ It has a great location. The fact that the rooms part have an independent entrance is also a nice detail. The air conditioning works properly.

− There are no channels on the TV. Because of the two pubs located on the ground floor, you can hear music all night. As if that wasn't enough, the ultra-thin walls mean you can hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms. Although providing a registration paper within the first 24 hours is a legal requirement, it wasn't provided even by the fourth day, with the excuse that "the relevant authority did not approve it yet." The document they gave me had the stamp of a company they had previously taken over (the receptionist said so). Both during my initial check-in and after housekeeping, the bath slippers, shampoo, and body gel that are usually provided in many places were not given. The quality of those present in the bathroom was really low. The main person in charge of the hotel speaks good English, but the receptionist only knows Russian.

− No free slippers provided and the sink is too small

+ The only thing I liked about the hotel was its location.

− Internet in the hotel was very slow. We had a hard time understanding each other because the guy at the reception didn't speak English. The rooms at the hotel were incredibly small. We, two friends, could barely fit into the room. Even though I asked for the towels to be changed, they were not changed. I adjusted the water in the bathroom according to myself, but when someone else in the hotel turned on the water, boiling water flowed and it hurt me from time to time.

+ Reception man was helpful, even though the hotel was overbooked he managed to give us a room. Clean room and bathroom and hotel overall. Shampoo and body wash provided

− The heating system is both floor heating and radiator. The room was hot so the window had to be open, the rooms are alittle small but they are okay for tourism if its just for sleeping. Ventilators must be put in bathrooms to avoid condensation and glass doors for showers since there are only curtains and the floor gets wet

+ So easy to access most of places for travel

− The door of bathroom couldn’t closed easily thanks to the sloping floor. Somehow toilet was smelly because the smell of sewage came up

− Extremely small rooms, no A/C
