Mercure Moscow Paveletskaya Hotel

+ Stayed here twice 10 days apart. It’s close to Paveletskaya stantsya which is great. I thought it was priced competitively.

+ Comfortable mattress and pillows. Room is quiet. I can refill drinking water myself from the water cooler which is very convenient for me.

− I can smell the smoke from cigarette in my room because the window location of my room is exactly above the smoking corner in front of hotel entrance. Even I close the window I can still smell the cigarette smoke.

+ The location was good, ladies at the reception desk were helpful, breakfast was good...

− The most essential thing drinking water was not provided in the room. I had to fetch it from the dispenser located near the lift whenever I needed it. Everytime it was a 2 minute walk with the heavy glass jug in hand. The bed was too soft. In such a bed the spine gets bend, it's not recommend as hygienic these days. While at the breakfast next morning my room number was missing from the list. I had to call a lady from the reception desk to fix the issue. A mere callousness on their part, not befitting to a hotel like this. Last but not the least, the wifi was terrible, was almost defunct.

+ 1. Everyone was kind include Reception desk, Security Guard, House Keeping 2. Location was not the best, but good enough consider the price and star grade of hotel 3. Room was a bit old, but classical design and ceiling was awesome

− 1. There were lots of stains which is not removable in the bottom of the bathroom 2. Construction site view was a bit bad even tho i haven't chose the room with a good view

+ Location is perfect, in City center, close to metro stations and bus stops. Surprisingly quiet ambiance! The breakfast is fantastic, meets any preferences. The rooms are clean, comfortable temperature, good internet connection, many TV channels, coffee, tea, water, all the needed facilities. You need a microscope to find dust or stains. Very friendly personnel!

+ The place was very quiet and nice , employees where very friendly and helpful , will come back again.

− In this website I couldn’t find the junior sweet option but they showed me the room there.

+ Staff and the lobby

− Bed wasn’t comfortable Bathroom was a little dirty and the room felt like a BDSM theme
